​Dimitris Lambrou was born on 1979 in the village of Dasaki Achnas in the district of Larnaca, Cyprus and raised in a family with tradition in hunting as hunting with dogs was part of their daily life.
 
He was impressed by how different breeds could excel in different types of hunting and learned the importance of the standards and how standards could favor their working skills.

In 1993 he got his first dog and in 1997 he got an American Staffordshire Terrier and fell in love with the amazing personality of this breed and after a while he started showing and breeding under the prefix A.F.G.
